Final week, the teacher Dianna Shyne led a workshop on the “Colors of Spring”, which bundled her painting four little scientific studies of flowering trees and spring bouquets. I was struck most by her field of daffodils, and this flowering tree. (I’m guessing it’s a cherry tree.) I did my very own version of the reference photo, and listed here is my end result. (I took a photograph at a length, due to the fact in some techniques, the painting appears improved from afar.) 8吆 stretched canvas.
Hues employed: Titanium White, Quinacridone Magenta (PR122), Naphthol Pink (PR112), Cad-No cost Yellow Medium, Ultramarine Blue and Uncooked Umber. I toned the canvas a handful of months ago with Raw Umber and Titanium White.
